Discount for adult visitors with children: 50 % discount from the full price ticket for two adults (parents, grandparents, close relatives) arriving to the museum with two children.

visitors with a valid teacher card

students of Fine Art, Applied Art, Art History, History and Archeology and Travel Guide with a valid student card

on the last Saturday of every month visitors under 26 years and one or two adults accompanying youngsters under the age of 18

all visitors on the following Hungarian national holidays: 15 March, 20 August, and 23 October

visitors with a valid ICOM card

visitors holding a valid national or international press cards

visitors holding a professional travel guide card if accompanying a group of visitors

visitors holding a Budapest Card, www.budapest-card.com

Under these conditions one can visit all exhibitions of the museum for free, but for museum events (museum educational activity, Night of the Museums etc.) the actual ticket price has to be paid.
